On January 1, 2020 I started a new project over on my Instagram.
For decades I’ve loved creating scenes with masked characters and photographing or filming them. It’s been one of my favorite art forms, and I really didn’t have enough opportunity to do that with the shapes my life took.
But on new year’s I vowed to post at least one photo and story every day to my Instagram, and here we are in August and I have not failed!
So that’s cool!
It’s been interesting that with this Mask business, at first I was taking the photos for the mask listings, and now I’m just really enjoying creating fun photo shoots and goofing around with them! And somehow I remembered that this was what I had wanted to do all along.
So I feel really lucky in being able to do that.
People here in the town I am in have been really nice, and they seem to enjoy modeling and creating the art with me, so I’m going to keep doing that!
